Course Details

Gingival recession defects may be treated through a variety of approaches. Vestibular Incision Subperiosteal Tunnel Access (VISTA) technique has a number of advantages which makes this technique suitable for periodontal soft tissue regeneration. This presentation will outline the step-by-step protocol for VISTA. The rationale and material selection will be discussed. The presentation will be followed by live surgery demonstration to treat multiple gingival recession defect.

Course Details

Full-mouth rehabilitations of edentulous patients with dental implants are nowadays a predictable treatment protocol. However, meticulous diagnosis and treatment planning is required in order to avoid prosthetic failure and it should include proper diagnosis, case selection, diagnostic study casts, appropriate radiographic imaging, and referrals to specialists when indicated. An evaluation of adequate restorative space during the diagnostic phase and prior to implant placement is a crucial factor in the success of reconstructions. The fabrication of restorations with inadequate restorative space may result in aesthetic, mechanical, and biologic complications. In addition, improperly placed and/or angulated implants can be challenging to restore, and their removal may be required in order to achieve acceptable functional and aesthetic outcomes. This workshop will provide you with a detailed insight on how to achieve a successful and predictable functional and aesthetic outcome.
